vibrant atmosphere

difficult reception access

We had a fantastic time soaking in the views from our room. The area buzzed with life, making it a great spot for people watching. Our stay was particularly memorable when we enjoyed drinks at a lovely café nearby while listening to a vibrant band playing jazzy melodies.

For dads, it would be great if the stairs to the reception were not so steep when lugging bags. It made check-in quite a hassle, especially with a baby in tow.

friendly staff

excellent location

the belle-vue vieux-port has a stunning view, especially from room 44. it’s really close to the port and has a vibrant atmosphere. the front desk staff were super friendly and eager to help. I also loved the calorie exchanger they mentioned for better water use.

Fantastic location with stunning views of the old port, ideal for those wanting to explore nearby restaurants and cafes. The continental breakfast on the balcony provided a pleasant start to the day, and the room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was insufficient during our stay, which impacted our overall comfort. Staff responsiveness also fell short, especially regarding our inquiries.

Comfortable Stay with a View

Spending two nights here was a real treat! The room offered stunning views of the port. While we found the fridge amusingly ineffective, the nearby restaurants provided fantastic dining options. For light sleepers, carry earplugs for street noise at night. Overall, a charming place to enjoy Marseille.

Not the best stay

We spent 2 nights in a room that had a horrible sewage smell. The heat was uncontrollable, too hot! We complained but did not get much help. At least the view of the Old Port was nice, and the snack bar had some decent options. Honestly, way too overpriced for what we got.

The room was really nice with tons of light and a great view of the port. Super spacious with high ceilings that felt luxurious. I loved the decor. it was pretty tasteful. The bed was comfy, so I slept well. Just a heads-up, no elevator, so pack light if you can! Oh, and some of the fixtures felt a bit dated. But overall, I enjoyed my stay!
